Catalogue of the fossil Cenozoic plants of Republic of North Macedonia

Abstract

Taxa of the North Macedonian Cenozoic macroflora published in the period 1922-2021 are presented. Fossil material from the National Historical Museum in Belgrade originating from Cenozoic deposits in Republic of North Macedonia is also presented. The taxa have been identified as imprints of leaves and disseminules. Each taxon is presented with its geographical location, and a schematic map of RN Macedonia includes all cited locations. The interval of the stratigraphic distribution of each taxon, where it is published or known, is also given. Some of the taxa have been revised. They are indicated as hoc loco.
